I’ve worked on three distinct areas of astronomy: formation and evolution of Planetary Nebulae, the flaring of Sagittarius A*, and outflows from Protoplanetary Discs.
The common theme of these projects has been to connect theories of magnetohydrodynamics (both ideal and non-ideal) and accretion discs to simulations and observations.
My interests hence lie in using magnetohydrodynamics, jet or accretion theory to solve interesting astrophysical problems, without resorting to full-blown simulations.
